Jessica Lucas started 2013 on a somewhat depressing note. Jessica Lucas was a co-star in Cult which premiered on the 19th of February. The show was then removed from the schedule on April 10 only a couple of weeks later. The remainder of the 13-week show were aired later on by the CW network. It's not a great feeling to have starred in an unpopular show which ended in the midst of its run. But on the bright side she seemed to be proving that her career was improving fast on the big screen. Jessica Lucas starred in That Awkward, released by Sony Pictures at the start of 2014, as American actor Michael B. Jordan's wife as well as lawyer. He is in a relationship with her husband and has clearly the upper-hand in their marriage. Lucas's performance is outstanding throughout the film, particularly since the buddy movie mostly is centered around three protagonists. In addition, as I mentioned previously she is also the one who owns the screen in the small amount of scenes that she was in the Paul W.S. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. Shenae, AnnaLynne McCord, and Jessica Stroup were her co-stars on the upcoming 90210. The role she was given was Riley Richmond, an elementary-school teacher in Melrose Place - a successful reboot of a popular 90s show.
