Jackie Burkhart on the Fox television show That's the 70s Show (1998-2006) at
the age of 14. From 1999 on, Kunis has voiced Meg Griffin on the Fox animated
show Family Guy. Kunis's breakthrough film role came in 2008, playing Rachel in
the romantic comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. She received more critical
acclaim and awards for her performance in the psychological thriller Black Swan
(2010), in which she was awarded the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young
Actor or Actress, and nominations for the SAG Award and the Golden Globe Award
for Best Supporting Actress. Her other films of note include action films Max
Payne (2008) and The Book of Eli (2010) The romantic comedy Friends with
Benefits (2011) The fantasy film Oz the Great and Powerful (2013) as the Wicked
Witch of the West, and the comedy series Ted (2012), Bad Moms (2016) and its
sequel, A Bad Moms Christmas (2017). Milena Markovna Kunis was the child of an
Ukrainian Jewish family. She was born on 14 August on the 14th of August, 1983
in Chernivtsi (now Ukraine) to a Ukrainian Jewish mother and father. Mark
Kunis, her mechanical engineer father, works as taxi driver. Kunis has an older
brother, Michael. Her parents survived the Holocaust. Russian is her mother
language.
